Pacquiao rules! Thus twitted by Paris Hilton after watching the fight live in Las Vegas. The king of the boxing ring defeated Shane Mosley, the challenger, in the 12th round. 

My family haven't got the chance to watch the victory and history unfolding in every boobtube. We watched until the fourth round and head out for a late lunch. The taxi driver didn't miss a beat as he animatedly recount each round.

I wondered if he had really seen the fight or he had just enacted what he heard on the radio. I wondered more though if his animation would get us in a vehicular accident. Such fanaticism. I can't blame him, we're Filipinos - fans of victory slash rags-to-riches stories.

It was funny seeing Pacquiao with a white headband on. The headwear flashed the name of a known brand. Advertisement! Money. How creative. ;D

I remember Miguel Cotto hitting the ring floor the same way Mosley did in the third round. Manny Pacquiao's fists are speeding bullets, which made them make a bed out of the floor - a running joke among Filipinos when Cotto agonizingly hit the floor.

A controversial round where Pacquiao, for a moment, lost his balance but did not receive a blow from opponent, according to the taxi driver and the sports analyst in the late night news. I didn't know for sure. Whatever happened, the Pacman won the game. Now, who's next?
